🐾 Meet Squid 🐾 Some dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves… and sweet Squid is one of them. At 10 years old, this handsome Beagle never expected to find himself searching for a new family. Following the heartbreaking loss of his owner, Squid’s whole world has been turned upside down. The home he knew, the person he loved, and the life he cherished are suddenly gone. Sadly, Squid is finding kennel life incredibly difficult. Every day, his handlers see just how much he longs for the comfort of a home again. The busy kennel environment simply isn’t where this gentle soul belongs. He deserves a warm bed, a peaceful garden to potter around, and someone to spend his golden years beside. Squid is searching for a retirement home where he can truly relax and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Whether it’s a gentle stroll, a cosy nap on the sofa, or simply being close to his favourite person, that’s all this lovely boy is asking for. He is looking for a home with no other dogs and older children, where he can settle in at his own pace and become someone’s loyal companion once again. Like many older dogs, Squid does have a few medical needs, but these are all manageable and will be discussed fully during meets with our team. What he needs most isn’t perfection – it’s love, patience, and someone willing to give him the second chance he so desperately deserves.
